Position Overview This role is responsible for facilitating a
culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Research, plans, trains, executes and supports operational
improvement programs in order to create a culture of continuous
improvement and lean manufacturing that leads to associate
empowerment, elimination of waste, and improvements in safety,
quality, service and cost. Leverage the adherence to standard work
and the execution of the Lean Management System. Leads Kaizen
events per Program guidelines designed to forward and sustain
continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities for
Kaizen events that provide quantifiable and sustainable results.
Communicate metrics for measurement of continuous improvement;
monitor and analyze quantitative and qualitative results related to
initiatives on a continual basis. What you'll do Promotes a safety
culture and the implementation of safety policies and training in
compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to
eliminate work related injuries. Lead Kaizen events and continuous
improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation and
project management. Enforce adherence of standard work and ensures
the integration with Lean Management System. Use lean manufacturing
tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Charters, 5S, Gemba
walks, LMS, Root cause problem solving) to identify and develop
solutions that drive operational improvement in Safety, Quality,
Delivery and Cost. Steering committee participation. Leverage
programs designed to continually improve operations and eliminate
waste fostering best practice and standardization. Mentoring
associates in the use of Lean tools, ensuring transfer of
knowledge, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Collect and analyze the data on Plant processes, procedures and
performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations on
improvement opportunities. Track, monitor, and report regularly on
project status; monitor product and process improvement milestones
to ensure on-time completion and sustainability. Analyze, develop,
ratify, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices.
Establish collaborative relationship with local plant management.
QUALIFICATION, SKILL and ATTRIBUTE REQUIRMENTS: Problem
identification and resolution skills Commitment to eliminating all
forms of waste Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work with
some supervision; ability to handle multiple tasks with track
record of successful completion. Evaluates possible courses of
action and generates solutions to problems. Manage to maintaining a
safe environment. Enforce a culture of continuous improvement for

Maintain motivation and enthusiasm through development to drive CI

ability to create and maintain strong business relationships.
Ability to work independently, making decisions regarding daily
functions/priorities while reporting non-routine decisions to
Management. Analytical and interpersonal skills along with computer
skills, i.e. SAP, BW, Excel, Word, PPTX. Communication and teaching
skills, with ability to rally employees and teams. Ability to adapt
and manage in a changing environment. Understanding of and
commitment to manufacturing excellence. Focus on quality and the
customer experience WORKING CONDITIONS: Office and light
manufacturing/production/warehouse environment. The following

frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers,
handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, pull, push, write, talk
and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate; ear protection is required in some
areas. Who you are Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
(e.g. Business Administration) Experience applying Lean
methodologies to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and drive
measurable efficiency improvements." Experience facilitating kaizen
events and/or key participant role is desirable. Six Sigma
Certification desirable. Experience in manufacturing environment
Computer and analytical skills required 1 years' experience leading
and managing people, departments and organizations, with
production/plant management leadership preferred. Speak English
