Job Description:

seeking a Director of Development Services to lead our Development
Services Department and guide the future growth and development of
our beautiful county. In this pivotal role ad the Director of
Development Services, you'll be the strategic mind behind our
Development Services Department, overseeing the divisions that
include planning, zoning, building, and GIS. You'll work closely
with the County Council, various committees, and other governmental
agencies to ensure our community's growth is both sustainable and
beneficial for all while providing technical insight and
recommendations related to planning and development policies, goals
and objectives. . The Director of Development Services is a
full-time appointed position that is required to work on-site
Monday-Friday. What You'll Bring: A Master's Degree in Urban or
Rural Planning, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in similar
duties, including at least two (2) years in a lead or supervisory
role. An equivalent combination of education and experience will
also be considered. Current membership in the American Planning
Association (APA). Must hold an AICP Certification, or in process
and the ability to obtain it within one year of employment. A valid
driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to
