Job Description Job Description The Rose is currently seeking a
creative, focused and efficient individual to join our team.
Applicant must have 1-2 years of professional bakery experience and
management. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for
staffing and scheduling a small but dedicated team, creating new
seasonal pastries and managing all aspects of the bakery program.

an open-view kitchen so politeness, professionalism, and the

lbs Willingness to accept and apply feedback Food Handler's Permit
The bakery is a program built into a restaurant/cafe, we provide
high quality pastries, baked daily. There are staple recipes,
however, the position allows for freedom and flexibility in
creating your own recipes and signatures within the style and brand
of The Rose. A part of that brand is providing a variety of options
that include vegan and gluten-free. Being comfortable with this is
desired. Day in the life: You walk in to The Rose Establishment,
turn on the lights, walk back into the open kitchen, turn the oven
on and pick your play list. You have the whole space to yourself.
The calm before the bustle. You spend these quiet hours baking and
prepping the case for opening. Afterward, you grab the kitchen
shears and head to the roof where you clip fresh tarragon and
pansies from the rooftop garden to be used in the pastry special
you created. All the freshly baked pastries are out and the cafe is
open. The barista gives you a sample of a drink special they've
been working on. It is strong and spicy, and it energizes you for
your day of production ahead. Hours later, you take off your apron
and clock out. You grab a cookie and sit on the patio under the
shade of vines. "Benny and the Jets" is playing on the stereo. You
eat your cookie and you think, "I'm sure glad I saw that ‘Pastry
Chef at The Rose Establishment' ad." Job Type: Full-time Pay
